Found a shooting range in Northern California (Ukiah) with cottages a quarter mile away. Quite a bit out of the way for driving from Southern California but not too far to drive rental cars from San Francisco Airport for anyone flying in. It's about a two and a half hour drive from SF.The cottages are a bit pricier than those in Texas though ($195 to over $390 depending). Don't know if they offer group discounts.

Been trying to locate a suitable shooting range with cottages nearby. There's the Burro Canyon shooting range near Pasadena/Azusa, in Southern California and there are a couple RV parks nearby, but could not find any cottages nearby. Plenty of suitable hotels in the area.
