Kinsman Redeemer is the title that Naomi uses for Boaz - as she explains to Ruth what Boaz may do under the Mosaic Law to give Ruth a new life- one that is secure. I have recieved a new life through Jesus Christ - my Kinsman Redeemer! I am loved by the God of the Universe. He paid the price that I could not when He redeemed me from the power and penalty of sin. I was lost in sin when I came into the world. I sinned because of my condition. Even though I still sin - I know that I am forgiven. It is not because of my good behaviour, it is because of God's grace that I have been released from the bondage of sin. I am free from the penalty of spiritual death. Jesus paid it all. If you stop right now and trust what God has done for you, you will be saved. Jesus Christ carried my sin to the Cross and paid the price. He is fully God and fully man. Jesus is my Kinsman Redeemer!
