.
1) Moved the site to what I hope is a better service. The new url is http://www.myfrpage.com and until released to the public, http://www.myfrpage.com/cgi-bin/get.cgi should get you to the site's "home" page.
2) Each user is automatically assigned a home page and a profile page when account is established. For now, we're using the user id to navigate to the pages, ie, my user id is "1" so my home page is: http://www.myfrpage.com/cgi-bin/get.cgi?user=1&page=home and my profile page is; http://www.myfrpage.com/cgi-bin/get.cgi?user=1&page=profile . Your user id is automatically stored in your cookie when you login with your screen name and password.
3) The user id is the same as your FR user id. You have to be a FR member in good standing to get posting privileges on MyFRpage.com
4) A user may add any number of additional pages to his account. See the left sidebar on my page as an example: http://www.myfrpage.com/cgi-bin/get.cgi?user=1&page=home (click on my name at the start of this post).
5) The home, about, help, groups, clubs, chapters pages, etc, are all built in the same manner, ie, I've assigned user id's to the various groupings and set up additional pages as needed. "MyFRPage" is a user with user id = 2, so the site's home page is: http://www.myfrpage.com/cgi-bin/get.cgi?user=2&page=home (click on MyFRpage/home at the top left of the page).
6) Groups of users can apply to me to start a new club, chapter, group, etc, and they can manage their own pages once established. I've got a start on a handful of clubs, and a news group as an example (see the right sidebar of the site's home page: http://www.myfrpage.com/cgi-bin/get.cgi?user=2&page=home )..

Will be adding search routines to find posts by title, tags, users, etc as we go.
Working on adding user menus in left sidebar right now. See the "Links" menu on my sidebar for an example. A user will be able to add menus of links as needed in either right or left sidebars. The left sidebar is displayed anytime a user or any reader displays any of his pages. The right sidebar will be custom to each of a users's individual pages, so it's a place to put menus of links that pertain to the content on that page. There will also be a page owner maintained list of tags or topics in the right sidebar for that page.

There is also a section for "about" text and banners for each page, but I don't have it linked in yet. See the "Donor Clubs" or my "Vietnam" page for examples.
In short, I've ripped the guts out of the original design and rebuilt the entire shooting match... again. Hopefully better and more hopefully, I'll be happier with this design (though the code is chock full of old experimental stuff that didn't work right or stuff that's no longer needed and will have to be unspaghettified as I get time). Also introduced some bugs that will have to be ferreted out. Hopefully will get most of them straightened out in the next few days.
Also, still lots of stuff not done yet. Far from ready to release, even to beta testers.
Hoping to have the system automatically generating hot links when user posts http urls and auto displaying images when it sees .img or ,jpg urls.
