They could at least try to loft a few for target practice.

There's been a lot of talk about the Obama administration's use of drones on American citizens, now a Texas lawmaker has introduced legislation to make it illegal in the Lone Star Sate.
You need to make sure you're not capturing images or videotaping anyone enjoying their private property, whether it's a big piece of land or a small home without their permission, State Rep. Lance Gooden tells KTRH News. It also says that law enforcement, if they're going to use drones, they need a search warrant.â€
If passed, HB 912 says violators would be slapped with a misdemeanor and fines starting at $1,000. Gooden says Texans also would be able to take measures into their own hands if need be.

I edited most out, but left one in so Jim could see what I was talking about.
These symbols were not present in the article.
They don't denote any punctuation or spacing.
Also, it would be cool to be able to "bold" stuff... like the last line of the excerpt:
"Gooden says Texans also would be able to take measures into their own hands if need be."
Correction: SOME may denote punctuation or spacing.
Others were just randomly dancing around in the text.
Also I just noticed that I can edit my LAST post, but no previous posts on the thread.
I don't know if that's a problem or not, it doesn't bother me. Just an observation.
Now there are edit options on every post of mine on this thread.
Fancy curly or slanted quote marks and apostrophes don't work very well when cut and pasting. Also long dashes. John solved this problems in some places on FR, but it still gives us grief in other places. Hopefully, we'll find a good solution.
Also, hopefully, we'll eventually be able to use html.
By the way, GO, TEXAS!! Woo hoo!!
Shooting at drones is likely impractical, if you can see 'em at all.
But like a bunch of rednecks, we'll give it a good shot, I'll tell you what.
Whether they hit them or not, love to see the states defying the unconstitutional, overstepping, jack-booted federal tyrants!

Texas has got it right.
Jim, just figured out when the edit buttons on your posts disappeared in this thread - it's when I clicked on the view all comments button.
