Me and Sheila before we were married. I was out of the navy for less than a year when we met. I was working as an aircraft sheet metal mechanic for my brother-in-law (Jim Brennan) at the time. He used to rib me all the time saying now that you're out of the service, you'll be married in less than a year. I said no way, I'm a confirmed bachelor. Well, that all changed after that sweet young thing entered my life. We were married in June 1970. I was 24 and she was 19.
Me with John and Chris in our first house in 1974. A 2 bedroom, 1 bath on Safford St in Fresno just two blocks from my first computer job at Producer's Dairy. The home was built in the '20s and we bought it for $15,000. Sold it six years later for $32,000. John was born in '72, Chris in '74.
